Allison Vitello

Allison Vitello is the owner and founder of Arable Earth. As a restoration ecologist and practitioner, she is focused on low-tech process-based restoration of riverscapes in Colorado. She’s interested in finding and implementing scalable solutions to help reverse the decline of wetland and riparian health that has occurred in our country for over 200 years.

We’ve helped project partners identify funding sources and prepare applications.
To date we have helped raise over $335,000 for LTPBR projects.
By working collaboratively with partners we’ve successfully implemented restoration treatments on degraded riparian and wetland habitat and we have 286 acres scheduled for treatment over the next 2-5 years.
Allison is a member of the Beaver Institute Beaver Corps, trained and mentored by Mike Callahan in the installation of flow devices and other coexistence & conflict resolution measures.
